The place was as promised, we had a wonderful time during our Christmas vacation. We really appreciated the Christmas tree decoration.
The private river was nice to fish from with my son and the views alone are worth staying here. We were fortunate to see river otters playing in the river one day so that made our day as well.
Yes you will be next to the highway ( we were aware of that from the reviews) but it's not a busy highway. It's pretty quiet from our bedroom but outside you can hear cars passing by but nothing to disturb my 11 year old son at night and slept well.
Erica was a great host and when I asked her for nearby recommendations for a short hike and she responded right away. Unfortunately Laurel Falls Trail is closed until mid 2026.
One location that made up for it ( no waterfalls but awesome mountain views) was the Foothills Parkway. I highly recommend it and do the Look Rock Tower Trail. It's only 25 minutes more or less and gradually goes up.

The best host!! We had to book very last minute and she responded so fast and was very helpful in so many ways. The place was beautiful and peaceful also. Not far from everything and easy access. Will Definitely book again! 10/10 would recommend.

Erica’s condo was spot on. Exactly as described inside and out. The condo was spacious and very clean. Amenities inside were everything you would need for a long stay. (We only stayed 3 nights but you are easily set for a much longer stay.) The spices/oils included were a great touch because we like to cook even on vacay. Most places you are lucky to get salt and pepper. Beds were comfy and you had plenty of linens and pillows. The view from the balcony was beautiful during the day and at night. The fog rolling in in the trees and hills in the morning were gorgeous and the downtown area lights up beautifully at night especially during Christmas. The space does come with a dog crate so no need to bring your own. Plenty of laundry detergent pods, dishwasher pods, and trash bags. Also lots of plug in night lights. The attention to detail for those little things to make your stay comfy and as if you were staying at your own place was very thoughtful. 12/10 would stay here again.

My husband and I enjoyed our 4-night stay at our home away from home in Walland, TN and were delighted to return as second-time guests. Check-in and check-out were seamless, and we appreciated Erica's flexibility in allowing us a shorter stay during the holiday season and a later departure at 11 AM. The cabin is cozy, well appointed, and ideally located for exploring the Smoky Mountains. Situated just across the Little River, with private river access, it's an excellent choice for visitors who are in town to fish or take a New Year's cold plunge.

Super close to the fishing even though we were to busy to fish. Really queit. This didn't seem like a party place more of a peaceful respectful area. My kids loved the arcade machine and the other games in the game room. We will definitely try to book this again on our next trip to Branson.

We booked this home for a weekend getaway in December with some friends. The pictures do not do this place justice- the views are so beautiful! Our host had the home decorated for the holidays which made the place feel so warm and cozy. Erica was so proactive in sending us information ahead of time which made our stay stress-free. Highly recommend staying at this lovely home!

Erica was extremely helpful and quick to respond before we checked and during our stay. Views were amazing and the place was nice and clean. It felt like forever(really just 5ish minutes)that it took to get to the cabin once we turned into the property but it’s worth it being all the way up there.

Such a pretty, peaceful spot! We loved the fire pit and porch and hot tub. Close to Knoxville and the Smokey’s. Cabin was clean and comfortable, as advertised. Highly recommend.
