We work to fix the problem. ✅ 🌲 Wildlife & Insects – Important Note Our cabin is nestled in the heart of the mountains and surrounded by nature — which means sharing the space with local wildlife and occasional insects is part of the experience. -Bears and other wildlife live in the area. Please do not feed them under any circumstances. -Keep all vehicle doors locked and store all food securely inside. Never leave food outside or in your car. -Spotting a bear or other wildlife is not uncommon and is not grounds for a refund. This is their natural habitat. -We have monthly professional pest control, but as the cabin is located in the woods, you may encounter insects from time to time. Again, this is not cause for a refund. We appreciate your understanding and respect for the natural environment that makes a mountain getaway so special. ✅ If you are planning a special event like a birthday or anniversary, we can help make your arrival a memorable one. Just let us know. ✅ We use a Ring camera to patrol the front entrance. Ring cameras are activated by motion and record anyone who walks in front of them. These recordings are saved and can be reviewed by the booking platform. If we believe the house rules are being violated, we have the ability to access this camera in real time.
